Contact

CssShift is run by a handful of people, so an emailed message lands with someone who can act on it. Mention the tool and what you expected, and the reply will be specific rather than a canned response.

The tool behind this page is CssShift, a CSS gradient generator. Questions usually involve copying a gradient straight into a React component or a number that came out differently than expected, and both are useful to hear about.

Email

Email is the reliable route: support@cssshift.com. Most messages get a reply inside one or two working days.

What to include

  • The tool name or a link to it.
  • A rough version of the colors, stops and angles you pick — we only need enough of it to redo the sum.
  • A short note on the expected versus actual output.
  • Browser and device, whenever something looked broken.

Anything concerning getting a prefixed fallback for an older browser is easier to answer when you include the page address, so we can look at the same tool you did.

Telling us about an incorrect answer

If a number looks off, we want to know. The calculation behind CssShift is documented — it composes the gradient from the stops and angle you set, writes the standard background-image alongside vendor-prefixed fallbacks, and for conic gradients reports a solid fallback color taken from the first stop for browsers that do not support them — which means most errors trace to an input that does not match the model, or a rounding edge. Tell us what you expected and where, and we will check it.
